Project: 16th Century Elizabethan Coif Design
Trying to achieve a true Elizabethan embroidery look true to extant samples is harder than you'd first think. I went through a number of scrolling designs before settling on my final result. The bug motifs are based on extant sleeves found in Janet Arnold's Queen Elizabeth's Wardrobe Unlocked.
